Hello Star Wars Fans Everywhere!!!
Good day to you all! Today I’d like to share with you the Star Wars Galactic Files Reborn set from Topps. These cards are pretty cool in my opinion, I like the way they look, the colors look great, how Topps broke this set up is awesome, and the hits are amazing!
Other hits consist of medallions (gold, silver, and bronze), autograph cards (base, gold, purple, and red), printing plates (4 for each card all of them 1/1) autograph printing plates, sketch cards from a great group of very talented artists, dual autographs (hobby box only), triple autograph cards (hobby box only), and the holy grail six card autograph (hobby box only)!
You can also find some of the insert cards numbered as well, they will be either purple, gold or red. Printing plates are available for each of the inserts too so be sure to keep a keen eye out for those. There are five different sets of inserts, Famous Quotes, Galactic Moments, Locations, Vehicles, and Weapons!
Buying hobby boxes is definitely the better way to go, they range in price from $60 to $100 dollars, depending on where you choose to buy from. A hobby box includes 1 guaranteed autograph card, 1 additional hit which can range from a sketch, medallion, autograph, or printing plate, 48 base orange parallel cards, and 12 base blue parallel cards.
To show you what this set looks like, I took some pictures of cards that I have so far!
One of the things I think is very cool about this set, is how they have the cards split up to incorporate all of the movies in the set. TPM which is The Phantom Menace, AOTC Attack of the Clones, ROTS Revenge of the Sith, RO Rogue One, ANH A New Hope, ESB Empire Strikes Back, ROTJ Return of the Jedi, TFA The Force Awakens, ACW Clone Wars. I believe there are roughly thirty cards for each set.
Target has the Galactic Files Reborn blaster boxes, which costs $20 and guarantees a medallion hit in each box, and ten additional packs for the chance at an additional hit. Target also has, what we call rack hangers, which is a sixteen card pack in a smaller box, and they also have $2 packs as well in a retail box.
I am apart of a very awesome group on Facebook, Topps Star Wars Collectible Card Traders! There are hundreds of great people in this group, and also a lot of the very talented artists that do the sketches are in this group as well. Tiffany Groves, Eric Lehtonen, Andrew Fry, Adam Shickling, Ben AbuSaada, Gus Mauk, Anthony Skubis, Marsha Parkins, Matthew Stewart, Corey Galal, Phil Hassewer, Juan Rosales, Kate Carlten, Anil Sharma, Kyle Hickman, and many, many more!
There is also a Sketch Card group on Facebook if you’re interested in seeing the lovely masterworks! These artists push themselves to be better and better with every set they do, and it most certainly shows. Thank you all for the amazing works of art!
So, if you’re sitting there, reading this, and thinking about being a collector of Star Wars cards, I definitely encourage it, like I said before, these groups are full of awesome people. Of course you’re able to sell the cards you want to sell, although most people prefer to trade with others to help each other complete sets, and that’s the biggest perk to this group, everyone helps everyone!
I would like to personally thank you for not only visiting Star-Wars-Everything.com, but for also taking the time to read this post on the Star Wars Galactic Files Reborn trading cards!
